Bigfoot Video & Bigfoot Protection Petition
Todd Standing says he’s found Bigfoot in the Rocky Mountains – and he’s made a documentary with Bigfoot footage to prove it.
Not only that, he’ll be on Coast to Coast AM this Sunday to tell us about it. See his website, Sylvanic, for more information.
I’m excited about this and have high hopes that it is the real thing. Todd took this one step further and introduced a petition to the Canadian House of Commons requesting legal protection for Sasquatch. I’m behind him 100% on this and have considered doing something similar locally since Sasquatch live in my area.
In an Edmonton Sun article about the petition, it is explained that the movie is called Sylvanic as that’s a native word from southern British Columbia meaning “shadow guardians of the mountains.”

The bigfoot people are real thay are the offspring of Cain, and live under the same curs as Cain just as we live under the curs of adam&eve.
For we are the offspring of Seth who is Adam&Eve’s #3 son.

i have studing bigfoot every since my grandfather told me about bigfoot so i have been very interested in bigfoot .one reason i believe the sightings of bigfoot have been seen all over the united states is because all the forests have been getting cut down for logs and i believe that bigfoot have been moving around from the forests being pushed out of his homes . i would really like not to see a dead one but that would prove they exists but we the people of the us should protect all bigfoots and thier familys from being hunted .they do not bother us and the goverment should protect these creatures from harm .you figure they have been here as long as we all know and if they can live with out medicane and gormay food and good heathy lives off the land and who knows how old they are or how long they have been here i have been hiking all over new york state and found strang things in the woods all kinds of creatures but never found a bigfoot .i have heard strang noises in the woods but could never explain the sounds . i would like to hear more in formation of bigfoot and up dated photos if you have any i would like to see them just send them to my e-mail address and please tell all the other crazy hunters not to shoot them they do not bother us so we should not bother them ? thank you so much Duane Felter

Dodgeman, Im not doubting you for one minute, but Im trying to work out why, hunters, like yourself, never ‘engage’ the target? I take my hat off to you for not just firing at any moving thing they see, but Im curious as to why you don’t investigate further?
I live in a country where the biggest thing we hunt is deer, so I can’t imagine what it must be like suddenly coming up against something much, much larger. But the first thing I was taught was, you identify the target, before even cocking your weapon. You certainly have have animals which are more than capable of ‘turning the tables’, and Iam curious as to whether fear, understandibly, or a sense of guilt, comes into play?
I really would like to hear yours & any ones thoughts on the subject.
Jon.

Jon, I’m not a hunter, but I was an armchair researcher for many years, and almost everytime I read a report about a hunter having a Bigfoot in their sites, they all said the same thing: “I couldnt shoot it; it looked too human.”
Now – having said that, I’ve also read reports about folks shooting at Bigfoot. One of the Bigfoot recordings readily available on the web is what purports to be a Biggie moaning loudly after being shot, somewhere in Pennsylvania. I’ve read other stories of witnesses seeing a Bigfoot that looked as if it had a gunshot wound. Perhaps they are shot by hunters who occasionally mistake them for other prey animals when they are in some cover (after all, tragically, hunters mistakenly kill even fellow hunters every year – rarely of course, but it does happen).
There is a report on the BFRO website about an elderly gentleman who said he shot and killed one accidentally in the 1940’s as a very young man; it was in some brush, and this man said he was tracking a moose that he had already shot & thought that the Biggie – who apparently was of the same or similar color – was the moose. Once he again shot what he thought was the moose he hit before, & came upon it dead on the ground, he knew it was no moose – or anything else he had ever encountered. When asked why he didnt tell anyone at that time, he said that he was a poor boy hunting for food out of season and was afraid of the trouble he would get into if he told authorities – besides, he had no idea of what it was that he had shot. What if it was some kind of human?
Anyway, thats pretty much it, from what I’ve read. Well, I’d like to add this; based on what Ive read over the years, I think more of these things have been shot and killed on military installations [Ft Lewis, Wa. especially] and by the occasional hunter than people realize, but the government hushes it up, and folks are reluctant to come forward for one reason or another. Hope this helped.
